The NWTF San Diego chapter J.A.K.E.S event is June 22nd at the Escondido Fish & Game complex...The first 105 kids signed up get t-shirts, NWTF membership, lunch, and a great day at the range...I start taking text messages & calls June 1st (6:00 am)...Don't wait...It was full the 1st day last year...

Dr, Escondido Fish & Game Assoc. has a black powder contingency....They actually help us with the J.A.K.E.S event on June 22nd....I'm sure someone would be interested....I also have the phone number of the person who helps us with the black powder portion (Smitty).... :blush:

The lake that keeps on giving....No crappie today, but the bass bite more than made up for it....Waded the beach till 9:30 am with Phil....Then fished from Cody's boat till 2:00 pm....Phil had fish of the day with a 5.5 lb'er.... :clap:

Kevin, I'm pretty sure Florida's were put into the lake in the early 80's and I think Barrett is the only lake that still has pure strain Northern's....The lake record for bass at Henshaw is 15-4 lbs...Most certainly not a Northern....;) I don't know for sure want they are, but they fight as...

I would say comparing crappie and turkeys would be like comparing apples and oranges....There's 100's of willow trees in Henshaw right now with the high lake level....I found one that we caught 4 crappie off of....Don't think that would have much impact on a fish that is very cyclic and can...

Hi Bruce, All is well now...Jaeger got hit by a rattlesnake last Thursday at Stefanie's house in Valley center...I think I set a new land speed record from my house, to her house, to the emergency vet....:eek: $2200.00 bucks later, he's going to be ok....................:heart:
