Took my daughter and her BF out last night Long Beach Harbor area. Patrick wanted to check out hooping and fishing for the first time. He recently finished chemo and is getting his strength back. The first few nets were either dry or full of shorts. Then he pulled up a nice 3 pounder. Needless to say he was stoked!

Between sets I set them up with spinning rods, small leads, and squid strips and put them on some small calicos and sandies. Nichole outfished everyone but Patrick finally landed some calicos and was pretty pumped.

It wasn’t an epic crawl but we finished with five nice lobster and great memories.

Tight Lines!
