NWTF Meeting Tonight....11-28-17

Hi guys,

If you're not doing anything.....There's a NWTF meeting tonight in Poway at the Filippi's Pizzeria.....Starts at 6:30 pm.

Great way for newbies to get involved and meet fellow hunters.....Hope to see you there.

There is no meeting in December, but the meeting (same location) is really important for organizing the Spring Turkey Tune-Up (Feb. 17th)....I think this event will have a great turn-out this year (lot more turkeys). So we're going to need lots of help.....Also, any vendors that would like to have a booth.....Please contact me.

Always the 4th Tuesday of the month (except Dec.).....Always at Filippi's.

The January meeting should be a good one.....Things that got done tonight.....The NWTF Spring Turkey Tune-Up is officially Feb. 17th 2018 at Lake Sutherland.....The drawing for the youth turkey hunt in the Santa Ysabel Preserve is March 3rd, 2018 at the Ramona Senior Ctr.....The hunt is March 24th & 25th.

Where can I find the schedule of nwtf events for the year? Id really like to attend some n get some real life lessons from fellas that have taken turkeys . Went searching up in san Bernardino.. with 0 results . I'm turkey crazy but can't seem to find them bastards lol

You may have to look further north or go south for the birds. There was a discussion on here about turkeys in other SoCal National Forests and there doesn't seem to be anything other than in San Diego.
