I have hunted Wister one time and my friends did all the picking they had a #10 spot but ended up picking #2 that morning since people didn't show up. That day but we ended up in a bad spot and it took us all day to limit. With that said I just drew my first Wister Reservation and it is #88 on Wed 12/13. That seems like a high number to me but I am sure a lot of people in front of me wont show up correct? Bottom line is #88 worth the drive down and the day off work? People hunt the sweat line and do good so any draw number should be worth it correct? BTW I will be reaching out to a few of you so I can get the dirt on which area I should be picking or trying to get thanks in advance lol.

It is always worth it to me, or was I should say.

Not sure if there is much in the long range weather forecast that makes duck hunting projected to be any better though. It is possible we get a push with the full moon this coming weekend, but who knows.

88 on a Wed is good, you should get a descent spot at Wister. It's just been painfully slow this year.

Nice talking to you, Drew.....It's always worth it in my book.....New birds per past records should be showing next week.....Some cold weather up north will start that push.
32 out of 100 ressis showed up last Wednesday at Wister.

With it being so easy to apply, that's about right for a Wednesday.....The .7 of a duck average doesn't help either.....lol

Well I guess me and the boys are good at the Wister draws. Both boys drew sunday 12/17 #35 and #53 and I drew Wed 12/20 #40. That is 4 draws in one week lol. I would guess its because there are not a lot of ducks but that 12/20 could be a real good hunt.
