We like sculpin. Going we have enough to try a few methods. Halibut is hitting the pan tonight.
He is a handful, but a ton of fun. Had to end our last trip early because he'd thrown all of the bait to the seals. Finally got him fishing this time and he landed his first saltwater catch.
Took the family and a school friend out fishing yesterday. The kids tag teamed a halibut, and we all combined for 30 or so sand bass and sculpin. It was a fun day on the water, and once again, my wife outfished us all.

I take the kids out a few times a year and they absolutely love it. We've never gotten into anything big though. Mostly short trips for rockfish and the like. My daughter out-catches everyone every time. I'm looking forward to them being old enough...

I've had an allert on OfferUp for a bit. A dude was selling a decked out Hobie for $1300 with everything, ready to go. Then, same day, it was de-listed and I never heard back again. I was ready, cash in hand to get to him as fast as I could.
