Seriously......no interest?
Great hunting dogs for upland & ducks

These are papered, shots, dewormed, chipped, tails cropped & dew claws removed.

Liver head, love the two with the faces on their back

Trust me this is a breeding I wanted a male but I rescued an old male jagd so my hands are full for now

Mark,

Most of us guys on here are just common folks.....A $1000.00 for something other than a lab is pretty tough.....lol

$1000 is cheap for a champion bloodline versatile dog, The normal going price is between $1500 and $3000 depending on the bloodline and their accolades. If the bitch and sire and one or both are VC champions the price would go towards the top end. Retrievers are great and we love them and train many but they are very different than a versatile dog as far as what they can be trained to do. Most of our client's are common folks (blue collar) with a special interest in what they want in a dog. No disrespect to anyone but it's important to recognize that retrievers and versatile dogs are distinctly different.

Fred......I was just kidding, but in all seriousness......A $1000.00 bucks for any dog is a lot of money to me.

I am pretty sure I tried to get one from him two years ago (posted add at the feed store in Temecula) but by the time I reached out they were all accounted for so I ended up going with a Weim. Let me talk to my wife to see if another dog is in the cards.

Steve, I understand you are kidding and laugh out loud with you about the breed you love (Labs are cool and fun "ya gotta love em") but I also feel that as someone that makes a living doing this that folks on this forum without this backround need to understand what it takes and being a contributor to this forum as a professional I feel strongly about expressing my experience and opinions. The cheapest part of owning a hunting dog is the purchase price period... Retrievers are great and can be trained very well to do many things, We love them here at our kennel and try to understand each owners needs and desires as best as we can to achieve what they want when we train their dogs, but in all accounts and experience's that I have been exposed to and participated in they are not the same as a versatile dog, if you live the upland and waterfowl lifestyle they are different in their abilities in the performance of their capabilities. Both types of breeds will require follow up training throughout their lives. Personally in my opinion if you are an upland and waterfowl hunter you will be training your dog until the day you dig a hole in the ground and kick dirt over it when it dies . I stand by the fact that that a versatile dog will do both better than a retriever when properly trained period.. There are always those exceptions that we see but that is what the stats have shown us over the years.Granted it will take longer and be more of a journey with more work and dedication from the owner of a versatile dog and time as well as cost wise but I have spent enough time with this to stand by my claims.

That's not him this is his first litter

Makes me wish I had more space. My boy needs a friend.

But they look defective they are missing 1/2 there tails? J/k I’m the only freak that has a full tailed GSP

I wish I were ready for a new pup. We have two dogs. Next one will be a VHD, but not yet.

They sure are cute. The GSP breed is all business when it comes to hunting. An amazing breed.
