Oh that's where I drive to a lot of my hunting. Your in a great spot start looking around and making friends . Lots of boar up in that area as well as upland birds and Tule elk. Get maps of Los Padres and start driving around those forest roads great place.
 
Thanks Stump. I visited the local BLM office here and they weren't much help. Lots of outdated maps and it looks like BLM in the area is pretty freakin' slim.
 
I'd check every winery......They historically don't like deer, turkeys, or pigs......All they can say is no......Remember, 40 acres of private is probably better than 4,000 of public......;)
