Cavity Back Bullets

These look like they should lose some pedals but still hold most of its weight. I just hope it would stay in the animal and not pass through as it breaks apart. But if the pedals come off it will be a bigger wound channel even if it passes through.

Copper sucks but if this bullet does what I think it will do I just might stop bashing copper. The one good thing with copper it's very accurate and will go through anything hence why it was developed for African big game.

Some one asked about the VG they are very accurate and get the job done with in reason. But the TSX is more versatile on yotes in case you don't get the best shot at a yote

A few more options on the copper for a bigger wound channel.

Cutting Edge their pedals break off for a great wound channel while still holding the core together

Lehigh Bullets their pedals fan out much further than most copper bullets creating a much larger exit wound. I guess they will break off if they hit bone.

As for the cavity back bullets this photo looks good for a triangular exit wound.

I won't worry about it being California approved but it would be nice. When I get checked in the condor zone the warden ask if it's copper he looks at it then it's over........but I'm sure there's that one warden who will ask if it's CA approved......of course it is don't you know a barnes bullet when you see one?

If the young warden that checked me for a plug this past weekend couldn't unload an auto I'm sure he has no clue to what an approved bullet looks like.
