Me and my bro tried a few local south OC coastal spots last night in the Whaler and did well. Less than 50' feet so pulling was easy. Conditions were smooth. Incoming tide until around 10 PM, no moon. Bait was an unholy mixture of freezer-burned yellowtail, dark/oily tuna scraps saved from the summer, left over sardines stored in ziplocks, and scraps from various other fish cleanings stored in the freezer (I hate paying for lobster bait!). We were both limited by 10 PM and threw back 5 more keepers on the last set. Jackpot went 6lbs 8 oz. Not every trip is this good so we were stoked.

Good luck everyone!
