McDonald's?

It's just some of them for different reasons. I'm sure some of them may have closed to support the movement but many had no or low numbers of workers.

Pretty stupid.

That was a close one......Gots to have my fast food......lol

ps.....One of my good friends had 8 walk on him this morning.....Adios amigos!

Donald pushed back pretty hard this past a.m.Glad to have seen it. I am not a friend of his behavior and rhetoric but I feel he did a good job of shoving the media on it's back as far as biased coverage goes. He's a quite bit more abrasive than I like but he made some good points about media coverage and media bias. The media pushed right back but I think he grabbed them by the balls and pulled so lets see what happens next. He'll never be as popular as Obama and is probably a one term president but maybe an outsider can shake this crap up and move this country forward...

I thought this was a hunting forum. Just saying

Jose,

It is.......Unfortunately, politics has forced it's way into our hunting & fishing life styles.....And, that's part of the problem. Hunters & fisherman are secretive by nature (anti-gun & PETA folks are not).....So collectively, we are late to the game of politics and sadly losing ground in many arenas.

Yea. I understand. Which is why myself and many others who were on this site way before it got popular have actually stopped being on here daily. I believe if you want politics, go on a political forum. But, it is what it is. I'm not talking smack, nor trying to be disrespectful, just saying what I feel. We actually said we weren't going to involve politics in this forum a few years ago. But it creeped up on us I guess. Again, I'm not being disrespectful.
Good day to you sir.

Again, like other outdoor sites I'm involved in, we have either a political forum or open discussion forum.....Politics as much as I hate it, is just part of all of our lives now.......The NRA, CWA, CRPA, and others can't do everything.

As SCH has grown, I hope you understand the responsibility each forum has to keep hunter & fisherman aware of what we're up against.....The anti's are relentless.

Yea. Of course I understand. Thank you. I'm just saying, this forum is to get away from all of that. FYI...... I agree with you on everything you said. I work for the government and involved in all the government's issues daily. I would come on here to get away from all that, and actually enjoy it. But your RIGHT. I don't disagree with anything you said. I just want to keep this forum strictly OUTDOORS. It's not my forum, I didn't start it, nor taking credit for anything. Just saying, why put politics in here. I've met many good people on here and we have become great friends. But anyways, enjoy your weekend sir.

I think I agree with both sides of the "politics on the hunting site" debate. My recommendation would be a forum strictly for Politics not related to hunting. The McDonalds post would belong there. That way we don't stumble into discussions that are purely political and have nothing to do with hunting. Posts about new gun and ammo laws and the associated politics could still be in the Open Discussion forum or in one dedicated to new hunting laws.

Just my thoughts. No crticism. Love the site.

Agreed 100%. That's what I was trying to say. But you said it better. Hahaha. Thanks. Enjoy your weekend

And everyone wonders why we are losing.........
Not sure who or what your comment is directed at but if we are losing it's not because of me. I give plenty of $ to the NRA, the NRA-ILA , RMEF and others, and I defend gun rights in conversations every chance I get. I also follow politics and am more than willing to debate immigration and other issues. All I was suggesting is a forum for topics that are political and not related to hunting or guns, like the McDonald's strike. If it doesn't happen it's fine, the site is awesome the way it is. I am sorry I participated in hijacking your thread though.
