Welcome Californio. Do you have any experience hunting? What are you hunting with? I assume you've taken your HE and have a license. You'll need a pig tag. Read carefully over the sticky threads in the Newbie Den, and then come back with specific questions. You can search on old threads too, in the big game forum (where you'll find most discussions about pig hunting) under "gear".

Yes i am licenced. Never hunted before. But i am getting into it for my son and family. I am not new to the outdoors. I study primitive skills and herbology next step his hunting and tracking. Im looking to hunt many game animals but start with quail and rabbits. Hunting Firearms i own are Pointer single shot break action 12G. Mosin Nagant. And a Samick Sage takedown bow.
