Just wanting some information on public land hunting opportunities near camp Pendelton I just got stationed here and I'm trying to not miss turkey season. If you guys could help me out and let me know some places I would appreciate it.

Welcome to SCH & thank you for your service.

Boy, you just missed the turkey tune-up last Saturday.....Could've got a lot of info about our local areas to hunt.....Check out Cleveland NF east of Pendleton, Lake Henshaw area, and Eagle Peak.....These are just areas to start......Finding them is up to you after dispersal starts......

Thank you I really appreciate it! I've always harvested easterns in Kentucky I know here y'all have rio's and another specie I haven't gotten to harvest yet! I'm Really excited and enthusiastic about these next couple of years hunting and fishing up here in California. Never harvested a mule deer but it's going to happen. Thanks again!
