Went out to scout and check my trail cams. They have been soaking for a month. A little longer than I would leave them out. But due to a car accident I was without a vehicle for 2 weeks, but anyways. So I get to the cams and spot 2 does one day and one doe the day before. The pic I'm in was taken 4 mins after the pic of the 2 does. Put the sd cards back in and decide to look at new territory. Only to stumble along 2 very small ( size of house cats) bobcats 10 feet in front me. After a quick stare down they wondered into the brush. On my way to my truck I spook another doe 5 yards in front. I felt the hooves on the ground. Heart was racing lol. My question is, is there most likely a buck around with so many does or not always? The last 3 scouts I've seen a doe or two. Ill keep looking for that stud. Great day, beautiful weather. Thanks guys.

When the rut starts there will most likely be a buck following. They may change their pattern then but not necessarily. Keep on it.

I see about 10 does for every buck. Early and now, the bucks are nocturnal and solo or hanging in bachelor groups. Sometime in Nov they will become stupid and then if you target does, you'll find the bucks.
