D16 Opener

I put on for a PP and a A22 tag this year. I was working the morning the extras came on sale so didn't get my D16. I wasn't too worried about it because my buddy and my father in law both got their D16 so figured I would just take them to my areas I have been scouting. Now neither of them want to hunt! Guess I'll save my areas for A22, or next year!

Wow!.....They buy two tags and then before the season even starts, they don't want to go?

Jacob & I are pumped for this week-end.....Saw a nice buck on public yesterday coming home from Wister and have good areas on MCC too.

My buddy has a good excuse. He is in Colorado with his Dad who has cancer.

My father in law spent a bunch of money getting ready for hunting, lost 10 lbs walking every day and changed his mind!

Dang Sorry about that. I too have been struggling with illness. But been fighting hard to stay healthy. Trying to juice and eat more veggies and greens.

Saw 2 nice bucks quail hunting and 1 doe. Can't wait for Saturday, the only bummer my hunting partner, also my daughter seems like she may have lost a little interest. hopefully she comes around She has the G13 tag.

Great read!

Since my hunting partners who hold the D16 tags are not going to take advantage of my scouting this last year, I think I will get an AO tag and head out to my spot to see if it is a secret like I hope, or overran haha!

I was contemplating were would be the best spot to setup on Saturday. This article sealed the deal. Of course to be high and the wind in my face. The vantage point will be looking a deer trail. In between a water source and bedding and feed grounds.
