Couldnt get a shot off

made a nice stalk on this nice buck but couldnt seal the deal, i must not tell a lie, i was giving my 5 year old grandson some training stalking deer in cuyamaca.

Man that's a great buck.. if that's Cuyamaca I'm not surprised; that place has some awesome game. The other week I almost ran over a giant gobbler that was feeding on the shoulder of the 79. His horsetail beard was dragging on the ground.
 
Two years back I was camping in cuyamaca, pulled over and counted over 100+ deer in the fields south of the lake, along with 60+ turkey. Beautiful area!

Very cool, Stevo.....We call Cuyamaca "The Nursery".....Bucks and gobblers/jakes eventually get kicked out and move off into places we can hunt.
 
Seen many big ones in there. That's a great buck. Hope he migrates 30-40 miles to my honey hole!
