They are navy seal students, I had 2 walk 50yds from my stand last week, then 30 minutes later 20+ in a single file. None saw me and I could have hit them with a rock. I was hoping they would bump the deer around but nada.

I saw one on the road in broad daylight in Laguna driving around with my lady, I turned a corner and thought it was a big coyote until I saw the tail.... walking back to my truck in the dark has not been fun ever since.

Isn't growing basically legal now? Why bother hiding in the hills with guns when you can grown in your back yard.

I kicked up a covey just today scouting in east county. There is tons of water and apparently birds! Go hike around and you'll find what you're looking for, these were in some high sage brush on the edge of some oaks. I was looking for bigger birds but am happy I found some of the smaller ones.
