It costs $1500 initiation to join and then the yearly dues. They have multiple packages from about $600 to $1700 per year. The $600 is limited to I think 6 hunts per year and the $1700 is unlimited birds and fur barers with guests to all 100 or so ranches.

I think that is 2 confirmed places to get wild game butchered. I called Pomona Food Locker this morning and spoke to a guy with an accent, must be the owner. Said they would be happy to butcher a deer, if skinned about $99 if not more. Gave me his hours and suggested if I called and came by on...

Thanks. That sounds like good advise. My problem is I don't have any place to do that. The wife would have a fit if I tried that in the garage. Her meat comes wrapped in paper not on the hoof. Can't do it in the field, it is a private ranch that won't allow leaving any more than guts. I think I...

I am booked on Cummings Ranch (6000 acres). Are you familiar with it? The club also has Benz Ranch (3000acres) that butts up on the west side of Cummings.

Got my book and membership yesterday. I booked a 2 day weekend at Cummings. I am told 2 day is not enough so I think I will stretch it to Wed. trying to figure out where to start on the ranch. I was thinking over near the ponds, what do you think?

    Hunting Club

Got a phone call from the salesmen yesterday congratulating me for being accepted to the club. I picked up the phone and called the club to book a hunt. Didn't even have my member number yet. They looked it up, booked my hunt and answered a bunch of questions I had. Really easy, they were very...

The sales guy also required that my wife be in on the "interview". Thought that was strange. What if I didn't have a wife? He said the membership was for both of us and we both had to agree to follow the rules and sign the contract. He claimed it was for liability reasons to protect the land...
