Drew, you're right about the challenge archery hunting presents. There are so many variables to take into account that you really have to be aware and present in the moment. Good luck the rest of the season.

How much water for southern D Zones

I always drink at least half my body weight, in ounces, each day. For example, if you weigh 200 lbs you would drink at least 100 ounces of water a day. Mind you, I sweat a lot and do some sort of strenuous exercise every day in preparation for the season.

The use of scents or lack of

Doesn't matter if you douse yourself in doe piss while wearing head to toe scent blocker. They've evolved over millenia to smell predators aka you and me. Using thermals to your advantage is key over all else.

    OnX help

I was working back and forth with them a couple weeks ago. The transparency feature was not working, even though I had the premium membershiportal. I had them cancel my membership, then reinstate it. Then I deleted the app and re-downloaded it. Problem solved. Hope this helps.

    Proving non-lead Ammunition

Check out gunbot.net for buying ammunition. You can sort it by caliber, price, brand, etc. Personally, I took a trip to fine firearms, got some goodies, and began reloading my own ammo in preparation for the many new regulations that will be taking effect.

Steve, you make a great point here. It's extremely important, dare I say more important, to vote smartly in our local and statewide elections. This is where we will see more immediate boots on the ground change and where we can make our voices heard more loudly.
