I've seen much more wildlife in SBNF than ANF. Deer, bobcats, lion tracks, and coyotes seem to be plentiful in SB, but other than around the foothill houses, I've rarely seen much deer, coyotes, or tracks up high in the ANF. Anyone have better advice for any wildlife activity in the Angeles Nat'l Forest? Up Angeles Crest, or back by the Wilderness areas? Don't expect to hear about your honey holes, but any advice is appreciated about distance off roads, valleys vs. ridges, do you have to be near streams, time of day, etc. ???
