Needed to make some room in the freezer after a successful Missouri whitetail hunt. Decided to simmer a few skulls that have been sitting in the freezer for a while.

Simmered all the tissue off, definitely needs a final degreasing and whitening, but I think they're coming along ok. I can't get over the chompers on that badger!

That badger is rad! Which state did you get it in? Did it come into a call or did you just get lucky? I know that they are local I have just never seen one.

Just dumb luck. We were out shooting squirrels and I spotted him off in the distance. First CA Badger I've ever seen as well.

beautiful sculls i love the natural look of the yellow brownish.
So do I. I don't really like the toy white look myself. I like when they look like they've been dug up by an archeologist. That prehistoric look is rad.
