i turned 3 sprig into jerky last night. I shot a couple dove the same day and decided to marinate them and make jerky with them too. The dove turned out surprisingly good it’s like a nice chunk of jerky. If you have a bag full of dove in the freezer throw it in the dehydrater you won’t be disappointed. Make sure to marinate it for 24 hours. The sprig was great, but I already knew waterfowl taste good as jerky. The dove is a surprise. The kids are eating it up. As for the recipe I went easy and just used nesco original jerky seasoning. Vacume sealed and in the freezer ready for our next day in the field.
