Had a good day yesterday with the cousin.











Overall a success. 28 crawdads A few squawfish and few trout. No keeper trout tho :/

Good stuff Taft, used to go mud bug dippin in north San Diego county when I was kid, Mom would fix em up and we would feast. Good stuff !

A buddy of mine is camping at the Kern this week and says it is HOT!!!! We caught a lot of crawfish a couple nights while I was in June Lk a few weeks ago and my boys ate them. I haven't done that in years and had a blast.

When deer season rolls around and we go to bishop I'll post pics of way better quality crawdads

Nice my grandpa lives close to kernville in Cyrus canyon so I'm just minutes away when I stay up there.
It was pretty warm, which is the usual during the summer, but the water was in the 60's so that cooled us off. June lake has some dandy ones up there

1/4 oz Spinner with any kind of fly on the end. I was using a red/yellow nymph
