Regrettably, as Obama stated this is not the end of this. Also no one on this forum should take any comfort in the positions that our state representative have on these matters. This is a good example why organizations like the NRA deserve our support since they defend our rights and beliefs while our own state reps will not. Even if it was put to a popular vote and was voted down by 90% ( hypothetically speaking) does anyone believe Feinstein would stop trying to advance this agenda? I for one do not.
 
In honor of this fail I am purchasing two Colt SSA and calling them my "Merica' Collection." Because it doesn't really get anymore American than a Colt SSA.
