San Diego scores for mule deer

This pic was taken on Public land in January. We think he is a 9x7 but not sure. Never see him during season. The friend who took this pic says he seen two more bucks a few days later bigger than this guy. No where near Cuyamaca where you would think bucks of this size roam. With out permission to cross through private getting to them , making a shot and then packing him out the legal way in this area through public would almost be impossible if you could find him during the season.

That’s the problem if someone post too many or too big of deer taken people start thinking wrong about him or her. There has been many guys here and in other forums where they just don’t post because of this...

The posted harvest numbers for D16 suggest that there are more and more 3pt and better bucks being harvested in the past couple of years. Compare those numbers from before the 2003 and 2007 wild fires in SD county and you'll notice that not only are more deer reported being harvested, but a larger percetage of 3pt and over deer are being taken! https://www.wildlife.ca.gov/hunting/deer#5477272-harvest-statistics

Im not questioning where they came from. I know where, and they are all legit deer. I just think you may have jacked some one else pics. In other words you may not have killed one or more of those bucks.
