next week I'm going on a offshore fishing trip targeting Tuna & Yellowtail, what type of reel and line size
should I have, is a star drag conventional good enough, mono vs. braid?, also any of your favorite lures recomendations would be helpful

Private boat or cattle boat? Just wondering cause if its cattle boat you can call and ask them and see what they suggest. Gear needed will depend on size of Tuna targeted. Yellowtail.... 20 and 30lb outifts should be ok. Good luck, you should have fun .....lots of fish out there.

60 lb braid tipper with 20lb floral all day

Work that drag, you. An bring in 40 lber's all day takes longer but it can easily be done.

All about presentation, fly line baby cheowww, gut hook, feed the free spool, front of the boat, pit straight out. The bait will work its way down.

Good luckIMG_1713.JPGIMG_1717.JPG
