well I had my heart set on buying a set of Vortex Razor HDs 10x42 $1200 this summer. But since some scumbag descided to steal my entire hunting pack full of gear out of my garage I now have to replace everything.
With that said I went down to FFA today and picked up a pair of Viper HD 10x42 for $500. Next to the razors there was very little noticable difference. I am stoked on the purchase. Thanks FFA for stocking so much glass.
I am sure I will get a pair of Razors someday but for now the Vipers should do a more than adequate job on my tripod finding game.

Thanks John for the price I really couldn't beat them. I really like the Kaibabs as well I might pick up a set of the 20 power. They would be great in AZ and NM.

That sucks about your gear Drew.
Post up some of the gear you lost in case some scumbag is selling to a member.
The Vipers are pretty good glass for the $.

Sucks to hear your pack was stolen. Some people have no shame.

Thieves are the worst! Selling it for meth money probably. Lately I've seen some sketchy characters walking by while I'm working in the garage, and I can't help but think they're scoping what I have inside.

    Jason,

I live up on a hill. So, no drive by or walk by traffic.....A few years ago, my neighbor above me had a garage sale....They also fish, but wasn't selling that....Wouldn't you know it.....About a week later, someone broke into their garage and stole the fishing stuff.

No more garage sales around here.

Yea Steve you can't be too careful these days. I've also been wary of the 'solicitors' that leave flyers on your door.. my wife swears she's heard them jiggle a door handle before. Needless to say, she's now well versed with my Springfield XD.
