Did my usual Wednesday thing and went to the blind. Hunted with some guys that were new to the group I'd never met that were some great callers. The temp went up 20 degrees from yesterday and 40 or so since Saturday. So with the lack of cold weather all the birds didn't want to respond to calling. We had two groups of green wings buzz us at 30 yards and killed one from each. Right as I was packing up I hear a goose honk peek out and see a speck at 60 yards. Hit the call and he sailed into the decoys and I folded him at 10 yards. After the shot I realized no one else had shot. Turns out they let me kill him because somehow they heard I'd never killed a goose. Great day with a great group of guys.
