Anyone know if your allowed to clear blown down trees across trails on Govt land? I have a large tree across all lanes still attached to its root ball and want to chainsaw it so the trail is passable again. There is no way around it only over, steep on both sides. Been there for a few years now...

This was the year i had to throw down on snake boots for summer scouting. Went with the danner sharptails.

Maybe everyone in the party has to hit. I drew a party tag last year and could not tell.

Even dead those snakes are still alive, i had one flop around in the back of the truck for 6 hours with no head on it. Must of pinched a nerve.

Hoping for a speedy recovery. They were thick in the area i was in and i have never come across them out there in past years. Was like the IV in the summer time. Must be all the rain.

Once the lizards start moving the snakes about an hour behind. That snake was sitting in the only patch of light coming through the canopy, was still charging his batteries for the day.

Went back n forth with a tom for 2 hours this morning. Last time I was here I didn't move closer and thought I regretted it so this time I decided to try and get closer. Moved an additional 50 yards and blew him out. First time archery hunting out of a blind and there is no room in those blinds...

Depends on how hot the fire was for the regrowth to start but for public lands the closure orders can last longer than 2 years. I waited 4 years for a closire order to expire once, called them the day after it expired and asked if i could access and then they closed it another year.
