Almost enough money(inheritance from family) to just about buy a house anywhere in the country outside of CA.

After what the wife and I got for Christmas, there is a real chance that 2020 was my last year hunting CA. Looks like bow hunting on some farm lands in Nebraska and Missouri are going to become my norm.

It was open when I drove through it earlier today. Campgrounds, trailheads are open again. All of the barricades at some turnouts with closed signs are gone, and the National Forest website says it’s open as of today. DFW gave you bad info.

Gas/propane stoves are allowed only in designated campgrounds if I read it correctly.

If you are asking about the Holy Fire burn area, it reopened September 1st, but now the entire forest is closed.

I have been playing with the Tenzing every time I’m at Bass Pro. Recently(since posting this thread) I’ve been lookin at the Badlands packs also. I think something like a Tenzing will really do what I’m looking for in a pack for 99% of my hunting.
