Trail cam pictures

I was going through my SD cards the other day and found a few pictures I somehow missed in 2016. I bumped this guy out of his bed on opening day that year but never got a good look at him. Until now at least. I hope he is still out there.

The date on my camera was all screwed up when these were taken. It was October 2016

I also like the trees in the background. Nothing like hunting deer on the side of a timber filled mountain.

Yes you are joking, but I have killed deer infested with ticks. So bad it's fur was moving crawling with parasites.

Shot two bucks this year.....One had no ticks (Lake Henshaw area)…..The other was loaded with ticks (Julian area).

Funny some hunters hang deer head up, and others head down.
I use head down. With a deer hanger holding the hind legs.
The rabbits I killed recently had a lot of fleas. Jumping all over me.

That deer (doe) is alive and eating fruit....lol.....Also, infested with ticks.

Always head down.....

Not monsters or anything, but pretty nice D-16 bucks......Very disappointed my daughter didn't get one.....Poaching & lions have become a real issue in Julian.

ps.....A guy was caught shooting a robotic deer, at night, with a bow, in Pine Valley recently...…
