Scent Control

Stripes is amazing.... the rest of this thread is a big yawn. If you want to use scent blockers go for it. Pretty tough to say it’s necessary when so many of us get it done regularly without it.

Dis is not a dis. Dis is a dude expressing an opinion that you dis agree with so you feel compelled to comment about how you are butt hurt by someone who thinks your opinion is wrong.

A few years ago a magazine had an article about hiding your scent. They had a series of 5 or 6 little tents scattered in an open area, and they had a guy who washed his clothes in an advertised no-scent soap. He would hide in one of the tents, and then they would let a dog go, to find him. They would repeat the experiment with a new scent masking agent or no scent clothes. I thought the dog would smell the tents before settling on one. That is not what happened. The dog went straight to the tent with the guy every time. There was no fooling the dog. Wind in your face is the only real strategy.

Follow ish as much as you want but it still won't work for you......he was an Indian and your not.

I've hunted with many pure blooded Indians and their bodies are very different than ours. Better smell, hearing, eye sight and their body odor is very different than ours.

LOL dude fair enough , I am yawning at your comments , I help a lot of dudes on this board, and I am always giving encouraging constructive advice.
if some of other experience hunters here have a disgreement thats fine. I have given counter arguments why it's not science and why it helps..
was it you & surf&hunt and and an other fellow that I took the time to meet up at IV to show the ropes of Pheasant hunting and even showed you guys my spot..
and you had a dog intraining that could not find not one pheasant.. no worries its all good dude.

then showed some a good rabbit hunting spots, and I have done that few times here.. with other fellows , What have you done Cazador?

In my generation a yawn is a big time disrespect but your generations that means nothing. its not about butt hurt, its about respect, cordial and constructive comments.
when there is counter arguments there is a reason different levels of experience and training,

Have blessed life CazadorSuerte ,

MJB what are you talking about, I am half tarahumara & apache. get your facts straight brother.. and there is no one who is pure blood any more we are all mixed mongrels..
I had 20-30 vision, my families blood pressure has been so low , my brother had to run around the block be fore he could pass his physical in the navy.
my people can run not walk, run 100 miles with no problem, they could run a deer down, how many of you fellas can do that here, it is physically impossible and your science cant explain it.
and yes I have hunted with them, and they left me in the dust... but no worries its all good Mark , at least when I say Iam going to meet some one I don't break my word Mark..

Jim Thorpe-All American....One of my favorite movies.
