Bobcat Hunting Banned in CA

This is a good link to see what is in their pipeline. Put “fish and game” in the keyword search and brings up the bills both approved this year and in the pipeline. Need to catch them when they are introduced and identify the authors early if anything is going to be done.

I am willing to organize it if I can count on some of you to show up in blaze orange with a picket sign with me. California has the largest outdoor tourism in the county in the billions of dollars so there is leverage if we can get our message out not only to people in the state but people coming to the state for outdoor tourism. In the digital age it is actually easier than it sounds But all starts with an initial protest.

Lets glass up a bill and head it off at the pass. Better than bitching about them after they are signed.

I will show up in my blaze orange!!

Bears are next. Likely Dove and then eventually deer. Then on to fish. This will not stop with hunting. Fishing will eventually be a target. Bans on the materials used in weights and lures then on to other aspects of fishing.

John

Friendly reminder:

Last few days of bobcat hunting before the legislature's "year round bobcat poaching" season goes into effect.

If you can get out and do some hunting this week/weekend, go for it.

Also a pretty good chance this will be the last bear season, don't be surprised if they ban that real quickly without discussion in the first half of 2020. I'm planning to go to the south Sierra's this weekend and see if I can find some bobs in the snow.

Good luck to anyone trying to punch the last tags ever in CA. This state is a dumpster fire

The "state constitution" guarantees the CA people the right to fish. No such guarantee on hunting though.

No, this state is a "Demoncrat" septic tank that is overflowing and is in need of draining at "ALL" cost....

Fuck Gav!

Make sure to SIGN THE PETITION to get him RECALLED!!! --> www.ranaf.org

Go to the *.org page... find the link to the facebook group. On the facebook group they have a list of all the county names.. find your county name...open that shared document and it will list planned signing booth setups people are holding. Make sure to follow all the instructions they mention on their sight with regard to how you fill-out the petition. The Secretary of States office is very picky and likes to throw out as many petition entries as they can for stupid things like writing going outside the box lines, etc.
