No one knows what to really do when you favorite hunting partner passes away. Relive in your mind the many moments you had together. Think back on all the great conversations you had when the skies where empty. Look at the lab left behind knowing how many hundreds of birds he brought to hand. Remember how proud he was seeing the joy on your face when you dropped your first bird. Thanking him for opening the outdoors to you. I've done them all as my dad passed peacefully in his sleep early this week. He hunted across the US, chasing ducks and deer in NY, pheasants, quail and rabbit in MD, ducks and geese in WI, even goat and dove in HI. Not to mention the hundreds of fishing trips he took his family on. A true sportsman. I will miss him and I will miss sharing the outdoors with him. Love ya, Dad.

Yeah thats hard man I feel for ya sorry to hear that . Put together all the best things about your Dad and yourself and just pass it on . Fill your days with laughter and love cause thats what he would want . All the best BF

There is never a better hunting partner than your dad. I went thru this same thing recently. I feel your loss. Nothing can take away the memories, I cherish them every day. Be strong, you know thats what he would want from you. And honor every new hunt to him. My families prays to yours.

godspeed,

the power and beauty of the life we lead is exposed by the hurt in our hearts when we loose the ones we share this world with.

I'm sorry to here of your loss went through the same thing myself recently my father passed during deer season and this last season was not the same and probably deer season will never be the same for me without him by my side or ridge or trail right up from me. I talked to him alot out there last year and knew he will always be there with me but it still isn't the same. My prayers are with you and yours.
