Looking to get a few birds mounted , I've had some bad experiences in the past , mounts don't last , birds get lost , etc...

I think part of the issue in the past was the bird mounts were being subbed out by the actual taxidermist and the quality was all over the place.

So I'd appreciate any good leads.
 
I brought a pintail to Living Designs after they were recommended on this forum and it turned out great! The other ducks in their shop looked great too.
 
Kurt at Living Design, if you live in the OC is great...He has done birds for me since the late 70's...Barry Martin here in San Diego area (Santee) has done my more recent birds...Just make sure that if you want a certain look, address it before the work is done.
