Once I was walking to the truck to get more shells at San J, when a duck flew over the blind next to mine, and they shot it. It was banded, makes me wonder how many banded birds I’ve missed or have watched fly by out of range!

What’s the general location you shot it in? General meaning the county or Imperial Valley or Colorado River for example, not California.
ok so no one freaks out that i gave bad info to banding people. The image was edited to say FR. the real location was given so they have accurate data.
@Hunter527 the bird was taken..... wait the first rule of duck club is no one talks about duck club right? There are Teal all over the place right now. From the ditches in the IV to the colorado river to both wister and SJ. I can not hunt refuges since the court order so i will say it was not a refuge. gezz you would think the state would get over it.

I shot a couple big ducks once...one
with a ring on its leg...his buddy did not have one...thought that was odd..
