Moderna vaccine:(

Second moderna shot was yesterday. Other then a little sore from the shot nothing from the first one or this one.

Everybody in the family has gotten their shots with no problems except my daughter who is too young.
Her mother is the only one that got covid back in the beginning of January. She got over it quickly but it may of weakened her and she had a lot of other already ongoing health issues. A month later she was gone. Why I really haven't been on here much. Was that what weakened her enough to pass or would of it of not mattered either way... I don't know. Either way we miss her.

It has sunk in and we've been adjusting. I still get choked up when I pause to think or talk about her. All things considered I'm thankful that our daughter is taking it pretty well. I think it's partly due to the fact that weather we knew it or not we had subconsciously been preparing for this as a possible outcome for a bit now. I'm mostly trying my best to keep Lola engaged with activities or projects to help with what happened. Not the easiest with what's been going on but just means do the outdoor stuff. Hoping to get out again for turkey in the Jr season or on some fish, etc.

Thanks for the condolences.

Sorry for your loss, that is too bad.

I was reluctant to get the shot because I did not want to feel like crap. But it is a fact that it helps, so I got my J&J today at CVS. So far so good, we will see tomorrow.

There is no denying that being vaccinated will be a requirement to do many things in the near future. I would not be surprised employers might require it.

You can play rebel all you want. But if you would like to travel out of the US, getting on a plane without the vaccine will not be possible.

Had a county health officer call me and we spoke for quite a while. She said they are finding out that many of these vaccinations are losing effectiveness between 3-6 months and the new task at hand is trying to come up with some sort of booster shot. She still recommended getting vaccinated and not letting our guard down

And we're alright with this ?

From the beginning I have found this entire situation to be truly unbelievable , many , many US Citizens willingly gave up their constitutional rights , and now many , many US Citizens are accepting that if they want some type of "normal" they must get vaccinated . If we did not have enough division amongst us now we have created yet another class of citizen , the unvaccinated"

Has nothing to do with being a rebel , it had eveything to do with liberty , freedom of choice and the persuit of happiness.

We didn't so much give up our liberties, as they were taken, under the guise of "public health." Whoever knew the Constitution could be suspended for health reasons. It is ominous, for sure

Have you ever being vaccinated for anything? How about your kids? Your dog? You have heard of polio, whooping cough, tetanus, varicella.

It's a vaccine, not a microchip. There is no brain washing involved, it took 2 minutes.

I don't know about the covid vaccine, I will find out in the future, but vaccines in general help with immunization is a fact.

I don't care if people continue wearing a mask for years to come, or if people choose not to vaccinate...it doesn't affect me after I'm vaccinated.

If not being vaccinated makes people mad because others get the shot, that's their problem I say.

The divisiveness doesn't seem to come from folks who believe the vaccine helps. I think is the other way around.

Just a quick reply as I have other things to do .

" The divisivness doesn't seem to come from folks who believe the the vaccine helps "

Can't travel without the vaccine ?

Sporting venues , better seats , larger crowds for the "vaccinated "

As I stated , vaccination should be a choice , no one should be shamed , pressured and especially forced to be vaccinated .

And yes my dogs are vaccinated and the FDA did not approve their vacines either and they're doing great so the vaccine may very well work out for you.

Again division is division.

Cheers.
