First things first I have find some apprentice hunts that I want to put my son in for this year. Last 2 years he drew J-13 buck or doe tag La County and is 2 for 2. Area we hunt is a friends spot that is tuff to access without a rhino or small 4 wheel drive. Still an option but I only hunt there...

Should I put in for the general buck hunt which I think is hunt 1500? I want to take my trailer out there and hunt and do some fishing I just dont know too much about the state.

I want to put in for Utah but never hunted it before? I also heard once you fish Utah you will never want to go back to the sierras again?

I enjoy both. I have been archery hunting a lot longer than rifle hunting. I could go either way.

Went to turkey tune up and found out about this website. I think im going to like it. My goal this year is two get my two boys at least a shot at a turkey. None of us have ever taken one before but were going to give it a try on the 19th. Cory
