Her first turkey 2014. My how the years go by, now she's getting married. Probably the best hunt I've ever been on. the hunt was with Santa Ysabel youth hunt. Let's see the youth pictures and who's going g out this weekend.

We moved to Tennessee this past September and hooked up with a couple of good guys that love to hu t and mentor kids. Got a chance to get my youngest, Ember out for her second white tail hunt and this 1 did disappoint. 2 shots and two does. Se one doe was a big girl.

The first day of a 14 day vaca.

Got to spend some quality time with my nephew, love this kid. I have to pay a little more attention to him then I ever did my girls. Great morning.

Sunday was a great day , 92 degrees, slight breeze and the birds were flying. It took me around 45 minutes ad the day was done. Time for some poppers.

I had my youngest take my fresh turkey and make a pie. Her first time and it was damn good.

I hunted got in early start so I wouldn't bump the birds, waste of time, people came in late made noise and the birds were aware of everything. Crazy amounts of gobbles, the only problem was mostly jakes and I didn't want to shoot a jake this early in the season. Watched birds all day but no...

Well it's that time of year again save the date. Here is the flyer with just a little bit of what we have planned for the day .

This will be the first meeting in 2 months and we will be asking volunteers to help with the TTU next month. If your interested come and join the meeting. P.S. we need lots of help.

Trying to get a pig hunt for the TTU in February and the place we normally go through, Big horn ranch , has got way to expensive. Has anybody used anyplace else that they would recommend.

Decided to get out with my youngest and do a little Dove shoot. Found a few and she was a great bird dog. She didn't want to shoot, but we had great conversation on 13 year old problems with life.

So we've had my nephew Gunner for almost three weeks, and man is he fun. Today we got to do a little dove hunt.and a swim by 11

Meeting is Tuesday July 27 ,6pm @ poway Hamburger Factory. We will be electing new officers and board members. Come get involved and see how it works.
