Deer hunting in the 60's. Honda Trail bike & Weatherby marketing movie.

This video hits home. I stumbled upon it while looking for info on a 1965 Honda 55 Trail Bike I have that was my Grandpa's. I don't know if he ever saw this but I could see him watching it & succumbing to the marketing of this bike & going to to buy one. In the early minutes of the video, the...

    Odd question

My daughter has 2 dogs she is very attached to. She recently found out that one of them has cancer & needs to be put down. It's been hard on her but she's been handling it well. She's decided, & I haven't asked her why yet, but she wants to euro mount his skull & taxidermy one of his paws. Odd...

    Headlamps

Just picked these up from Costco. I have yet to test how long one set of batteries will last but for the price ($14.99 which is $5 off regular price) they are pretty nice. Good set of lighting options including a red light. At this price it almost costs more to replace the batteries. Can't beat it.

    Sportmen's Catering Service

Sportmen's Catering Service was established in 1965 by my Grandfather, Max Berg. After 42 years of owning & running the business it got to be too much for him to handle in his older years. He then sold it to long time Niland residents, Frank & Marilyn Bailey. Marilyn worked during the days for...
