1st day quail hunting-ever.

On Thanksgiving I had my first opportunity to hunt quail. I was walking down a wash when I found a covey of 12-15 quail. One shot was all I got off and one quail to show. I could have had more shots but my eye hand coordination and muscle memory is not quite there yet. Not a story of super excitement and suspense but what an exciting and peaceful day to spend a day. I am hooked and will be back to post more!!!

On my first quail hunt I experienced the same thing...keep at it and the birds will fall...remember off season skeet shooting is a must for hand/eye..
