About 20 feet up
To honor the Super Bowl and all its glory, Lungpopper eats a football sized lobster tail. Oh ya and vegetables. :-\

Check you're cholesterol levels. They must be thru the roof after that thing disappeared.

I always feel guilty with those or 10lb checkerboards. If you leave 'em in, they make more!

They all make more if you leave them. I don't know where you fish, but where I fish there is a lobster problem. The entire ocean floor is crawling with them every night after sundown. So don't feel too bad for the dirty little bottom feeders. There are regs in place to protect sustainability. And the rule on the big ones is don't over cook them. :p And I challenge you to produce a pic of you holding a 10lb Cali.

Yeah, those 10 lb+ Cali's are pretty rare........Here's a 14-1............ ;)

I caught a 12+ pounder on the Malahini in the early 1980's. Not sure I have a photo though. We used to catch 7-10 pounders regularly off of the San Clemente Island Rookery in the early 1980's as well. Lot's of sharks in that area too. Never thought about photo bombing because it was a pretty normal thing off of that island.
