We got limits on the Tribute this weekend.
Generally when the boats are not reporting the size of the fish, that means they are the smaller grade. But Davies locker is reporting 12-18 lbs on the Dorado which is respectable, or BS.

Dorado are one of the most sustainable fish in the ocean because of their reproductive capabilities and their growth rate. At this point in time according to the fishery biologists we are good to go as far as taking them for consumption especially because they are not taken easily by commercial fishing. One the five fish I most favor to consume when fresh caught - #1 Halibut, # 2 White sea bass, # 3 fresh Yellowtail, # 4 fresh Dorado, # 5 fresh Yellowfin. Don't get me wrong any fresh sea food finfish, invertibrate or shell fish is in trouble if you put in front of me...
US waters 10. Not sure where punker 67 was fishing. All the LB and Davies Locker boats were fishing US waters.

Been fishing the south coast for 45 years... this is by far the best dorado season I've seen... and its still August. I leave September 15th for a 2 1/2 dayer... hook up... Ed F
