'Git-R-Done': Trump opens 1.4 million federal acres to hunters, anglers

Wow... that is unheard of! I'll betcha he saw what it did in terms of turning his own boy around behaviourally. Just a wild guess.
 
What it means to California:

o Colusa National Wildlife Refuge: Open to wild turkey hunting for the first time on 1,639 acres already open to other hunting.
o Delevan National Wildlife Refuge: Open to wild turkey hunting for the first time on 1,696 acres already open to other hunting.
o Marin Islands National Wildlife Refuge: Open to sport fishing for the first time.
o Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge: Open to wild turkey hunting for the first time on 1,371 acres already open to other hunting.
o San Pablo Bay National Wildlife Refuge: Expand season date ranges and method of take for existing migratory game bird hunting on 9,726 acres to further align with state regulations.
o Stone Lakes National Wildlife Refuge: Open sport fishing for the first time on acres already open to other activities.
o Sutter National Wildlife Refuge: Open to wild turkey hunting for the first time on 839 acres already open to other hunting.

Notice all that Southern California land opened up for us? Neither did I...again...
 
If they did open it up... they'd make you (the public) park your vehicles at least 7 miles away from it. AND... charge you 30 bucks a year for the "priviledge" of being able to do that.

Even though they may have already constructed a road thru it. And THEY happily can drive thru it and/or invite their personal buddies to drive thru it with them.

o Imperial National Wildlife Refuge: Expand method of take for existing migratory game bird hunting and expand method of take and season date ranges for existing upland game hunting to further align with state regulations on 23,897 acres.
o Kofa National Wildlife Refuge: Expand method of take and season date ranges for existing upland game hunting on 663,402 acres to further align with state regulations.
o San Bernardino National Wildlife Refuge: Expand method of take for existing migratory game bird hunting on 1,303 acres to further align with state regulations.

I am curious the new boundaries on the imperial wildlife refuge. Those birds stick to that thing like glue and it is a joke the “areas” they allow you to hunt. Hopefully they open some of the lower river stuff up this first season will be great.
