Hunter and I hit San Vicente Reservoir at daybreak and the kid was on fire right off the bat...At one point, he had the old man 8-2 on fish...4 hours later, I think I caught up and then some...

Fly lining Senko's was the top technique with drop shotting being good as well....Always fun.....

Haven't seen one all spring on any of the lakes I've fished.

I’m not sure if bass fishing is for me. I might have to try anyways. A family friend is going to try to qualify for the US open of bass fishing in October, have you ever done the qualifier?

No...Never really liked the tournament thing...Fished team tournaments, when I owned my bait & tackle store...

ps....Loved fishing calico bass night tournaments on "The Wall" though....
