Want to send some of this years ELK, Bear & Deer to a buddy back east. Anyone done this recently and could share the process that works would be appreciated.

Is it dry ice in a special container? If so, where do we get the dry ice and container?

Or buy an ice chest and tape it shut and second day it mid week?

Thanks.

I'm certain each carrier has their own rules. I know my brother has sent venison to me from Wisconsin. Dry ice is what it would take. Any styrofoam container, the kind Kansas City Steak uses will work. I think second day shipping would be needed to ensure meat is still frozen when you receive it. Some of what I got was starting to thaw but, not enough to cause any concern. I think you need to advise shipper about the dry ice.

Lamar...shoot me a text...I've had to do that once or twice for various associates...piece of cake..
