I’m going to be hunting Wister and Mendota next week and was curious if I need to get a marsh seat if guys usually sit in the water or no if they sit along the edges? I didn’t have to consider this last year because I only hunted San Jacinto.

Hunter,

Just another tool you might need for 'fowling.....I used to make my own.....The new ones are much nicer and under 40 bucks.

I need one.. I currently use a camo folding chair that sees double duty for dove hunting but it sinks in heavier mud...

I used to do that and just sit on the tules in a dove chair til last year when I fell backwards and filled my waders. It sucked but it made my cheap ass buy a seat and I can’t imagine hunting without it now.

Jason, I bought too many tule seats. If you get out to here to hunt I will send you home with one.
