Wasn't sure about making it out for the first season of dove this year but finally had some time to myself set for the last day! So I packed my gear, bought some shells, and headed down to the IV!

Tough putting lead on these guys so late in the season, they've gotten wise (I'm going to use that excuse for my poor shooting this morning)! Only managed 3 total and had 20 chances. Hope to get down there more come November 10th!

Yep, I have 2 of 'em.
Those spinner's sure work great.
As suggestion a little time at the
skeet and trap shoot. Bunch of fun with friends. It really helped me.
I had tough time with quail.
It's still tough with birds moving
Left or right but I get most,
When i get out.
Hard to say what my ratio of hit miss is now. But loads of fun at trying. I really enjoy the dove hunt. And i need to do it more often too.
Great Job getting out there.
Loads of fun.
