Does anyone on here use oil based sharpies to mark up their turrets? I think I am going to give it a shot this year (even though I have have the sig 2400 abs) as a precautionary backup.

If anyone else does this, do you prefer a fine or medium tip marker? Any pictures of what yours looks like?

I leave my turrets alone but I do have dope cards that are set for different average elevations that I hunt. For example, 0 ft for some Cali hunting & 6000ft for when I'm in Idaho. I tape the dope card to the stock on my dominant side so I can see it easily. Each card has a "high" and "low" temperature dope for morning and afternoon temps and a 10mph wind call.
