If you do "eat it and find out"... chew it around a lot... let the taste really hit you.. and if there is any harsh "bitter" to it... spit it out and don't go there. While those are obviously not "shrooms"... many mushroom species have developed toxicity to protect themselves from being eaten by herbivores, and could prove very harsh if you ingested the wrong ones.

Do not consume them if you have you do not intimate knowledge. Many mushroom's in so cal will kill you through non curable liver failure. There are several clubs in so cal that can coach you. Once again do not consume them unless you have intimate knowledge, you can die in a way that doctors cannot help you...
