Otay mountains target shooting...

Does anyone know if they’ve closed the BLM land for target shooting in delzura for fire season yet? I went about two months ago and it was still open...ended up filling my truck bed with other peoples trash...damn shame! Just curious if you can still shoot out there or no before I drive out there??? Thanks in advance!

Target shooting in San Diego County closed down in April. Imperial county is good to go but it gets hot quick.

I go to the Otay area often. They closed down on March 31 and won't open until December. I have been going out and picking up trash on a couple occasions and still see people disobeying the signs that are posted. SD Must is a group that also picks up the BLM areas. I did run into the BLM ranger and he as well is writing tickets for recreational shooting with signs posted.
